Senior Financial Analyst

Title: Senior Financial Analyst

Location: Boston, MA (3 days onsite)

Position Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting Grand Circle’s Finance Team by delivering financial reports, conducting in-depth analyses, and providing strategic insights to drive business performance. This individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to assess financial trends, identify opportunities and risks, and support decision-making through data-driven recommendations. A strong focus will be placed on analyzing key financial metrics, including revenue, profit margins, cost management, and operational efficiencies, to optimize overall company performance.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, this role will engage with senior leadership, including the CFO, CEO, and COO, to support financial planning, forecasting, and business strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver financial reporting, analysis, and insights to support business strategy and financial performance.

  • Identify key business trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations to improve financial outcomes.

  • Support the financial planning and forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Revenue Management, and Operations, to drive financial excellence.

  • Provide regular financial updates, including P&L performance and key financial indicators, to senior leadership.

  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis on sales trends, operational efficiencies, and cost management to drive data-informed decisions.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of finance experience, with a focus on financial planning, forecasting, and analysis.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights, and experience model building and handling large data sets.

  • Advanced Excel skills required; experience with SQL, Essbase, or Tableau is a plus.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively across departments.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and curious mindset.

  • Bachelor's degree required.
