Financial Analyst

Location: Boston, MA (3 days onsite)

Position Summary

The Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting Grand Circle’s Finance Team by assisting in the preparation of financial reports, conducting analyses, and providing insights to drive business performance. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess financial trends, identify opportunities and risks, and support decision-making through data-driven recommendations. A strong focus will be placed on analyzing key financial metrics, including revenue, profit margins, cost management, and operational efficiencies, to help optimize overall company performance.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, this role offers exposure to senior leadership and opportunities for growth in financial planning and analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing financial reports, forecasts, and analyses to support business decisions.
• Analyze business performance trends, identifying opportunities and risks.
• Support financial planning processes, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Collaborate with various departments, including Marketing and Revenue Management, to provide financial insights.
• Maintain and improve financial models and reporting tools.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses related to sales trends, cost management, and operational efficiencies.

Requirements:

• 4-7 years of finance or accounting experience, with exposure to financial analysis and reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into insights.
• Proficiency in Excel required; experience with SQL, Essbase, or Tableau is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
